Fitness at DuPont Country Club
The Club's state-of-the-art fitness center offers every piece of equipment an athlete would desire.
Whether you are looking to warm up before a round of golf or tennis or are looking to stay in shape year round, join us in our state-of-the-art fitness center, located on the Clubhouse’s Bottom Floor, near the Golf Pro Shop. Locker rooms and showers are available as well so you can freshen up before heading to work or stopping for a bite to eat in the Legends Grille.
Please note: our fitness center is not staffed during all hours, so we do ask all members and their guests to sign a release at the Golf Pro Shop prior to their first workout, which states that you are approved to workout by a physician and that you understand that you may be exercising unsupervised.
For your convenience, the fitness center is open daily from 6 AM to 8 PM
Classes we Offer
Bootcamp: Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 9-9:30 AM
Bootcamp: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday at 6-6:30 PM
Looking for a quick and intense workout focusing on full body? Bootcamp is the class for you. We focus on on body weight movements at a high intensity such as push-ups, sit-ups, and squats with little to no rest in between so the heart rate increases.
High Intensity Strength Training: Monday / Wednesday 6-7 AM
High Intensity Strength Training or H.I.S.T. is a style of resistance training that will incorporate a moderate to faster pace transition between each exercise enhancing the work load and efficiency of each training session. H.I.S.T. will target a full body fat burn and strength program to lose fat and gain lean body mass quickly! Similar to the H.I.I.T. class all members of the class at all levels and ages are welcome! Modifications can always be prescribed if needed. Come out on Monday and Wednesday at 6-7 AM in the indoor tennis building.
High Intensity Interval Training: Tuesday/Thursday at 6-7 AM
High intensity interval training is an excellent style of workout to get you into shape quickly. By performing exercises at a high intensity for short periods of time, you burn more calories than normal and you get rest! Come on by and get your workout early in the morning and done with!
Golf-Fitness: Tuesdays/Thursdays at 8-9 AM
Golf-Fitness is programed and designed to not only make you drive the ball further, but balance all parts of your game. This class focuses on making you becoming strong and stable while being able to endure a full round of golf or more, without feeling fatigued. Golf-Fitness incorporates strength, stabilization, balance, endurance and flexibility movements to give you a more well-rounded game.
Pilates with Kristina: Monday at 10-11 AM
Pilates with Kristina is an amazing experience you do not want to miss out on. This class is designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture all while enhancing mental awareness.
Yoga with Nicole: Monday at 6:45-7:45 PM
Yoga with Nicole will guide you through postures and stretches with flow to give your mind and body the strength it needs to conquer yourself!
Yoga with Chelsea: Friday at 9:45-10:45 AM
Yoga with Chelsea is a unique class that will strengthen the body and mind physically, spiritually, and mentally. Chelsea provides a combination of meditation and strength exercises to complete a well-rounded workout experience. Come on by and get your mind and body into shape!
